A refreshingly tangy Bengali salad to add a touch of zing to any fish or meat dish. This is also a perfect accompaniment to Bengali Style Pan-Fried Tilapia.
1 Onion, thinly sliced
2 Plum Tomatoes
1 fresh Green Chilli, finely chopped (optional)
A small bunch of fresh Coriander leaves
1 tsp fresh Lemon Juice
¼ tsp Salt
1. Place the onion and tomatoes in a bowl. Add the salt and mix well.
2. Now add the chilli, coriander and fresh lemon juice and combine all of the ingredients together.
3. To serve: Serve as an accompaniment to any fish or meat dish.
